On the road again!

June 22, 2005

A bit reluctantly we’ve finished the “field research” for our Florida Keys Paddling Atlas, scheduled for a fall release by Globe-Pequot Press. (Pre-orders are being taken at www.Amazon.com).

We say “reluctantly,” because it’s been a blast living in the Keys the past year and a half, and writing about this glorious sub-tropical environment.

But we are excited to be heading back to Virginia's Eastern Shore in July, and back to our roots in upstate New York in August. Along the way, we’ll be collecting new adventure stories to post, including hikes in Virginia for the next update of Hiking Virginia, and a kayaking circumnavigation of Manhattan Island.

We’ll return to the Sunshine State this fall to research our next book: Wild Florida Islands for the University Press of Florida.

As we may be without a home for a few months, you can always visit us at www.Burnhamink.com! Here’s some brand new content you’ll find there:

Top 10 Southeast Adventures: The best for families and adrenaline junkies, from Virginia to Florida and every state in between. http://www.burnhamink.com/work1.htm
