Happy Holidays!
We just had a little home adventure, dragging an eight-foot, live tree into the house, dirt, birdnests and all! Treehuggers that we are, we thought it would be cool to go to a local farm for a live White Pine we can plant in the yard after Christmas. Who knew dirt weighed so much?
If you’re like me, you’re way behind this year – I haven’t even begun my holiday shopping (don’t tell Bill)!

Our books make great stocking stuffers, and speaking of which, we’ll be doing a book-signing tomorrow (Saturday) from 10 a.m. to noon at the Book Bin on Virginia’s Eastern Shore.
