In a few days we’ll embark on a book tour like no other: Paddling 100 miles to the southernmost point in the US!
It’s a dream come true: promoting our new Florida Keys Paddling Atlas, the Florida Keys Paddling Trail, and responsible travel along this fragile coral island chain.
We’re launching Thursday in Key Largo and will pull up to Key West two weeks later, with a big splashy party on Feb. 13!
We’ll be blogging it all along the way at www.FloridaPaddling.com/disc.htm in words and photos. Here you can also see the full schedule of events, which includes book-signings, slide shows and “paddle with the authors” along the way. If you’re in the Keys, come see us!
We’ll also be calling in to a local radio show Monday-Friday between 7 and 10 a.m. Listen locally on AM 1300 (Cal Sutphin’s show), or online from anywhere at www.floridakeysradio.com (click in the middle of the page on “Listen to Fishing Reports.” We won’t really be fishing, but it should be very entertaining!
